Eranda, after completing the final examination of Sri Lanka Law College with second class honors, was called to the Bar of the Supreme Court of Sri Lanka in 2013. Completing 7 years of active practice, he is specializing in Civil Law, Immigration Law, Wills & Testaments, Agreements and Notarial work.

He advises clients on Civil and Family related matters.

He is a life member of the Bar Association of Sri Lanka and the Colombo Law Society. He was the Assistant Treasurer of the Colombo Law Society 2019/20.
